Telok Kurau Primary School Celebrates Its Centennial (2026)

This article covers the centennial celebrations of Telok Kurau Primary School, held on 28 May at the school premises. President Tharman was guest of honour at the event. The school noted that among its distinguished alumni are the late Singapore Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew and the late Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Hussein Onn. Principal Ms Grace Leong highlighted that over the past century, the school has produced many generations of alumni who have gone on to contribute significantly to various fields. The celebrations also featured a musical concert titled One Voice, One Heartbeat.
