Event Highlights
P4 and P5 Student Leaders’ VIA - World Aquatics Learning Journey & Dance of the Nation Programme (16 July 2025)
Earlier this year, our Primary 4 and 5 student leaders embarked on the Serve to Lead Programme—an initiative supported by SportSG. Building on this experience, they will participate in the Dance of the Nation programme, where they will be trained to lead and motivate others in a lively and engaging workout. This opportunity allows our student leaders to inspire a shared vision and enable others to act, empowering them to lead with empathy and purpose.
To continue building on the relationships forged with seniors from the Active Ageing Centres, the student leaders will also participate in a World Aquatics Learning Journey. They will reunite with the seniors and lead them in the Dance of the Nation workout. This meaningful experience highlights the value of sustained community engagement and reinforces The Leadership Challenge (TLC) practice
of encouraging the heart—as students uplift and energise others through movement and shared joy. We look forward to seeing our student leaders rise to the occasion as they lead with courage, kindness, and conviction.

P3 TL Drama Experience (18 July 2025)
Our Primary 3 Tamil Language students will be attending a Drama Experience. They will be watching Thisaivegam 13, presented by Athipathi International Theatre — Singapore’s longest-running Tamil drama festival.
Thisaivegam continues to celebrate original short Tamil plays, showcasing the vibrant talent within Singapore’s theatre community. This year’s festival holds special significance as it embraces the theme of Singapore’s National Day, offering a heartfelt and dramatic reflection on identity, unity, and our nation’s rich multicultural spirit. Each play promises a unique blend of culture, creativity, and patriotism on one stage.
Our students will attend the 3.30 p.m. show at Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre Auditorium, featuring the following plays:
-
Education is the Goal, not just Grades (கல்வியே குறி, மதிப்பெண்கள் அல்ல)
-
Vote: Difference and Indifference (வாக்கு வித்திோசம்)
-
Udayasuriyan (உதே சூரிேன்)
-
Rabbit Tale (முேல்-யவாம்)
We believe this enriching experience will inspire and benefit our students as they engage with meaningful stories told through the medium of Tamil drama.

Commemoration of Racial Harmony Day (21 July 2025)
Racial Harmony Day (RHD) is commemorated every year to remind students of the importance of maintaining racial harmony and social cohesion in Singapore. The theme – Our People, Our Tapestry – reflects how our various cultural threads, each representing the unique identities, traditions, beliefs, and practices of our diverse communities, are often intertwined with and complement one another.
We will commemorate RHD on Monday, 21 July 2025. On this day, there will be an assembly programme, quizzes, reflection and recess activities that strengthen our social cohesion and ensure that our multicultural tapestry remains strong and unified, exemplifying the strength and beauty of our shared heritage and commitment to harmony. Students are encouraged to come to school dressed in their ethnic costumes along with their white school shoes on this day. If they do not have any ethnic costume, they may come to school in their school uniform or PE attire.

Student Leaders’ Investiture 2025 (28 July 2025)
The upcoming Student Leaders’ Investiture will serve as a significant platform to recognise the commitment and contributions of our Tier 3 student leaders — Prefect Executive Committee (EXCO), Senior and Junior Prefects, Peer Support Leaders, CCE Ambassadors and CCA Leaders.
We will take the opportunity to honour our graduating Primary 6 student leaders who have demonstrated exemplary leadership through their actions. Their leadership has shaped a more caring and connected school environment and we thank them for their meaningful contributions.
While the school affirms our current student leaders who continue to serve with dedication and perseverance, we will also officially welcome our newly appointed student leaders who have stepped up with initiative and enthusiasm. We are confident that these student leaders will continue to lead with integrity, inspire those around them, and make a positive impact within and beyond our school community.
